History

The Jubilant Singers is a community chorus of mixed voices that began in 1997 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Our history is diverse; having performed in churches, retirement homes and the Ronald McDonald House.  We have performed a number of classical pieces, including Mozart, Brahms, and Handel, as well as many other famous artists and popular music.  In 2006, the group performed Handel's Messiah with the Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Michael Chertock.  Then in 2016, we again performed Handel's Messiah with a string quartet from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music under the direction of Dan Krueger.

We usually perform two concerts each year, spring and winter.  The spring concert is usually performed in May and is a lighter performance with more popular music, and the fall season is usually more religious music appropriate to the Christmas and Hanukkah season done in early December.

New members are welcome to join us in January and/or September of each year.  We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9pm at All Saints Lutheran Church, 445 Craig Rd., Mt Carmel, Ohio 45244.  Our current director is Dan Krueger and our accompanist is Jen Campbell.  We have dues of $40 per session.
